Barefoot Trimming - This is a hands
on course.
All participants will trim one horse.No cadavers!
Learn the correct way and get it right.
Course is tailored to suit individual participants, regardless
of experience or lack of it! All participants work at their own
level and speed.
DAY 1
8.30-10am

- Working conditions
- Anatomy of the hoof
- Discussion and gait analysis of course horses
- Controlling your workspace
- Horsemanship
- How and where to stand
10am-12.30
- What is a Barefoot Trim
- How to trim the hoof to achieve correct balance
12.30-1pm
1-4.30pm
- Continue trimming
- Understanding the cause of Hoof Problems
4.30-5.30pm
