Finding A Farrier
I receive a lot of emails asking me to recommend
good farriers, see also choosing a farrier.
This is a bit like asking a doctor to recommend a good doctor.
Horse Owners should be aware that there is a Master Farriers
Association in their state and that they can contact the association
for a list of farrier members.
Each state has an Australian Farriers & Blacksmiths Association
– there is also a website and a Members Code of Conduct
– see http://www.afba.org.au
The website www.horsedirectory.com.au
has many farrier listings. The members of the SA Masters Farrier
Association are listed here.
I have attempted to assemble a list of associations gained from
websites.
If there are any errors or if information is out of date, or if
you can supply further information, please contact me by email.
