HAS YOUR FARRIER TRAINED WITH ME?

I run 2 day courses which gives participants a sound grounding in how to correctly balance the hoof, and this starts them off on the long road to becoming a Hoof Carer. It takes around 10 years training to become a reasonable farrier.

I also run 5 day courses for people with 5 years experience or more to fine tune their hoof care skills and concentrate on areas needing improvement, with their ultimate goal being Certificate 3 in Farriery.

If I trained all the people in Australia who say they have ‘trained under me’ I would have to be at least 187 years old.

But if your farrier has ‘Trained under David Farmilo’ -DO ask what training he has done, where, and for how long!
